History

Our company was founded in 1969 by Enzo Greggio and Giovanni Melegatti, who, after gaining experience in other companies in the field, decided to pool their resources and start their own business. From the moment it was founded, USI ITALIA has concentrated its resources on developing the activity of design, production and sales of spray booths for cars and commercial vehicles, large vehicles such as trucks, busses and trains, and a specific line for shipyards, proposing innovations right from the start. In the seventies, as the company grew, its spray booth models became popular on the home market.

In the eighties the company consolidated its presence on the Italian market and began to assert itself rapidly on foreign markets, first in Europe and then, almost simultaneously, also in the rest of the world.

The nineties were the real turning-point; big investments in the automation of production facilities put USI ITALIA in a position of being able to offer on the market superior quality booths at highly competitive prices. During this period the company consolidated its presence on all markets, supplying its spray booth models to many body shops connected with the most prominent names the car world.

2003 represents the year that we call the TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION in the spray booth field. This was the year of the CHRONOTECH, a spray booth with unparalleled performance, a concentration of technology that ensures at the same time high productivity, energy and fuel savings, reliability and easiness of use. From the moment it was presented right up to today these features have brought success beyond our rosiest expectations. At present we have defined a complete range of products, MASTER, CHRONOTECH, FASTECH, SYNCHRO, CARGO, to meet all the needs of our customers. Tomorrow: as our customers’ needs continue to require new and different solutions, important developments are imminent as from May 2007.
